| Production features |
Pre-preg process with inside diameter 6.4mm to 127mm.
There is no limit on the thickness of the wall.
The maximum length without jointing is 5.25 metres.
Finish is smooth, varnish, or smooth white.
Localised stiffening can be introduced for support or joining areas.
Internal sleeving allows for increased stiffening, or jointing.
Stiffness is controlled by a variation of lay-up, thickness and material. |
| General |
Tubes are made from pre-preg materials, rolled onto an internal mandrel, wrapped in pressure tape and oven baked.
All resins are epoxy and carbon is T600 or T700. |
| Construction |
CG tubes have the following construction:
2 layers of 224gm/m of glass at 90degrees
3 layers of 300gm/m carbon at 0 degrees

| Usable temperature range |
-20 to +100 degrees Celsius
Above +110 Celsius and at maximum load the tubes will become increasingly plastic and creep |
