The Mirror dinghy is a small light easy to sail easy to transport sailing dinghy for training, cursing and racing. A strict one design international class that can be sailed as a single hander, racing with a crew of two and is recognised by the RYA and ISAF for developing sailors of an appropriate age who have their eye on winning medals at youth and international sailing regatta.
A stable family boat for all ages and abilities, ideal for just "messing about", it is also raced widely and actively both in the UK and abroad. Its ease of handling makes it a very good single-hander. For racing the crew is two but when pottering three can be carried.
The boat can be rowed or fitted with a small outboard motor - it can then accommodate four or five people. Ideal for training young people, it is an RYA-adopted Junior Class.
Many of the UK's top sailors started in a Mirror! A strict one-design, the Mirror became an International Class in 1989.

Our Bermudan Mirror rig was designed with the input of the Mirror Class Association and are suitable for light medium and heavier crews and sailing abilities. More controllable power by providing high quality mast tubes with exceptional gust response and control.
Our quality controlled tube design and production methods allows us to provide the range of tubes that are fitted out for ease of use and suit light crews for young ages through to heavier crews as sailors grow up. This ensures that the sailors spend as much time sailing rather than capsizing and losing a little enthusiasm for the sport.
The latest M9 rig design and latest MHA rig design mast options allow us to match the rigs for light, medium and heavy crew weights for varying wind conditions.
There are other mast fitting upgrades and high performance rigging options that will suit all sailors in the class.
Based on winning racing record, M9 and MHA are undisputed first choice of spars
